Ten years
before Mars Attacks, Norm made this cover illustration for a science
fiction magazine. This famous cover was admired by Topps editor,
Woody Gelman, a pulp collector, who was inspired to commission
Norm to paint the series.
June 1950, Famous Fantastic Mysteries
Thirty
years before Mars Attacks, Norm made this two-page illustration
for Modern Mechanics, where he first explored the idea of a monstrous
insects attack.
